Bears left tackle Braxton Jones was carted off the field with 9:18 to play after sustaining a left ankle injury in the second quarter of Chicago's 34-17 loss to the Detroit Lions. Jones went to the ground awkwardly after Lions defensive tackle Levi Onwuzurike landed on the offensive tackle's right leg while he was in pass protection.

Bears left tackle Braxton Jones appeared to suffer a major ankle injury in the second quarter against the Lions on Sunday and was carted to the locker room.

Unfortunately, that came on a drive on which the Bears lost offensive lineman Braxton Jones to an ugly ankle injury. Jones' lower leg was placed in an air cast before he was carted off the field. The Bears' entire sideline surrounded him as he was being carted off, and Jones gave a thumbs-up sign as he was taken to the locker room.
