In a little over 90 minutes and with only 65 balls faced, Sam Konstas's debut innings in the Boxing Day Test has forced Australian cricket into a new generation, and there is no going back now.

Sam Konstas snatched the early momentum from India on the opening day of the fourth Test at the MCG with a positive knock of 60 off just 65 balls on his debut. However, there was a physical altercation between Konstas and Virat Kohli that stole the limelight on the day.

Virat Kohli has been fined 20 per cent of his match fees and handed one demerit point for his 'shoulder bump' to Australia's Sam Konstas on Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test.
