The Red Sox added to their bullpen depth on Sunday by agreeing to terms with righthander Austin Adams on a minor league contract that included an invitation to spring training. Adams, 32, has 188 games of major league experience with five teams over eight seasons. He had a 3.92 earned run average in 56 games for the Athletics last season.
