After closing for the past three days due to inclement weather, Anne Arundel County Public Schools will have to either extend the school year or use virtual learning days if future bad weather

With snow still covering some local roads, Anne Arundel County Public Schools announced its plans for Wednesday classes.

Most Marylanders were snowed in Monday. It was the first major storm of the 2025 winter season, with some areas getting as much as eight inches of snowfall. WMAR-2 News crews went out to see how people spent their snow day.

Schools in several states will remain closed on Wednesday after a winter storm brought over a foot of snow in some areas.
