Michigan State football starting quarterback Aidan Chiles went down with an injury in the Spartans' loss to Indiana, but it appears that he will be available this weekend for MSU's match-up against Illinois.

The Spartans (4-5, 2-4 Big Ten), who have lost five of their last six, have a bye next week before playing at Illinois on Nov. 16. Asked if he expects Chiles to play against the Fighting Illini, coach Jonathan Smith said “Yeah, I would.”
