This state park has a beautiful campground and a really unique opportunity to stay in the lighthouse. We were able to stay in the lighthouse for 6 days/5 nights and found it to be delightful. Sunsets… Full review by theoljohnnyboy

Yes. There have been dogs there every time I have stayed. I understand that there may be a limit of 2 pets. Dogs are not allowed in the Lighthouse Cottage, however.

Hi - I don't know which would be better. However, I recommend you take one as soon as possible. They won't last very long. This is a popular place, but space is limited. Once you get there, if you haven't driven West along the lake to visit Olcott Beach, you should do so. If you go to Olcott Beach and if you like popcorn, stop at Bye's Popcorn on Rt. 78 just South of Olcott Beach. They grow and pop the corn on-site. Enjoy.
