Visitor Center recommended we drive to the east side of lake and view the wildlife nesting in the trees. We didn't have the time but a tour by boat is required if you wan to see wildlife. Full review by Mountainman827

Yes, absolutely. The Nature Conservancy's welcome center is open Wed-Sun until the end of May and then only on weekends. You can walk or drive around the lake and there's a hiking …

Yes, absolutely. The Nature Conservancy's welcome center is open Wed-Sun until the end of May and then only on weekends. You can walk or drive around the lake and there's a hiking trail that goes all the way around the lake and it starts near the welcome center. Plus...there's the boardwalk, a short walk through the wetlands.
