We had an amazing driver and guide for our trip to and from Milford Sound. We loved the small size of the coach and boat. My vegetarian sandwich was amazing . I would love to have that recipe. So man… Full review by dlsalse
At the moment we booked to do coach /boat and fly trip with Real Journeys to Milford Sound from Queenstown in November My concern is the long coach journey / we only have 3 nights in Queenstown / my hubby has Parkinsons Any experiences I feel it may be too long a day especially if return flight cancelled ????

We went in May and we were in Queenstown for three nights. I can safely say to fly in to Milford sound... do the boat tour and fly back the same afternoon. It is not worth the bus trip. Milford Air was who we used and it was professional and would highly recommend. They continually updated us on the weather and did everything they could to make it happen and it did. My father had Parkinson's and I understand the challenges with timing with meds and food. My advice is to fly in and out and enjoy the adventure for 5 hours. Don't waste an entire day doing this via bus.

We were cancelled for bad weather in the summer (January) but we just waited and it was out of this world so just do it weather permitting.....highlight of our holiday
