A well designed zoo, some exotic animals like the snow leopard, white tiger, siberian tiger, red panda can be spotted here. The HMI is also co-located with the zoo. Children will love this place Full review by AnosuaM

Good Place to visit with family & Childrens.. Lots of Animals & birds. Must visit the Museum situated within the zoo.. The place has many benches to sit, a small restaurant, clean washrooms too. Full review by SAURABH-ALLAHABAD

I believe you mean Darjeeling and not the zoo?( confused since you have posted the question under the zoo forum) Darjeeling should have a decent weather at this time with pleasant day and slightly cold night. i don't see any reason why you cannot visit at this time. Don't expect any snowfall though.
