Great museum, really is a must do if you’re in naples. Especially as you get to see a lot of the wall frescos and other things from Pompeii and the Herculaneum. Full review by sallygamble1

Be aware that not all rooms are opened at all times (we went several times and this last time both the frescoes room and the cabinete segretto were closed in the afternoon). Overall, it seems mornings are better to ensure more rooms are open to the public.
