Going down the river at night is amazing. Everything is lit up from the buildings to the bridges. Further down river, the mansions are lit up as well. We even saw the helicopter take off from Tampa… Full review by bren m

Great area that is a few minutes outside Tampa, away from the busy parts of downtown. Lots of stores, food, walking paths in this residential part of the city. Full review by JDTravelhome

If your bike has skiis and you get pulled behind a boat possibly, but I would advise a kayak or canoe. The Hillsboro River is a river, so no you can’t bike there.

Sounds like a great canoe trip. Yes. There are a half dozen stopping places along your route. Most are riverside public parks. Rowlett, and Rogers Golf Club. Then Riverside Park. Florida College. Lettuce Lake Park, Trout Creek Park and then you are into Flatwoods Park. Check out the route via google maps. Have a great paddle. Don't forget your camera and bug repellant!
