I loved visiting the cistern and hearing the history of how it was built and its uses. There is always a queue to get in but it moves fast. Definitely worth visiting Full review by Jennifer D

Fabulously atmospheric and very interesting historically. The information boards on the way in are well worth reading. It makes a complete change from the rest og the main Istanbul sights. Full review by DorsetDarcy
