We are not sure where we will be staying, probably Anaheim although we may stay a few days somewhere around Hollywood. Are there tours from hotels to the Gene Autry Museum or do you need to make your own way there - we will not have a car. Thanks,

Not that far from Hollywood... I also suggest UBER. While in Hollywood, Griffith Observatory is close plus the Hollyhock House at Barnsdahl Park, and the Museums on Wilshire.
