They work well in the Dots, keeping that warmth and fullness in the tone, and what most people hear as a traditional broader bigger 335 tone. Seths work better in full hollow bodies to give them a note liveliness and slightly almost acoustic open-ness.

WEBJan 17, 2022 · I absolutely love the pickups that came in my 2011 Dot. I believe they are a hotter pickup and can definitely be muddy if not adjusted "just right". My guitar is stock except for a bone nut and it's one of my favorite guitars to play. My recommendation is to really tinker with pickup height.
